As residential architects, Kezlo works cohesively as a unit with interior designers, landscape design and construction which expedites the entire process and advances the project schedule.
Kezlo has been involved in new custom home builds, builder model design,
home renovations and additions and more.
Kezlo assisted the owner of residence in all stages of development including a feasibility study for the existing single-family detached residence (research, discovey, implementation). Upon completion of feasibility study, Kezlo and owner moved on to the design of the home (research ideas, function, code review, site analysis, aesthetics, etc). Kezlo assisted this owner from A-Z. This project won the AIA Chesapeake Bay 2020 People's Choice Award!
The new residence on Harness Creek offers a unique opportunity to reimagine waterfront living. Careful consideration has been given to maximize prominent views to the water in an open plan concept with large expanses of glass framing views to the east, south, and west. The unique form was originally derived from the skewed boundary lines defining the buildable area of the property. Rather than give up valuable livable area that would have resulted from regularizing the plan into a traditional rectilinear shape, the boundary lines were embraced and celebrated ultimately leading to the aggressive building form as well as a generator for surface aesthetics.
Kezlo provided Professional Design Services for the development of a new residence with approximately 2500 sq. ft. of livable space. Special considerations were given to the existing qualities and opportunities within the site including views, circulation, scale, relationship(s) to natural elements, functional use, and the overall connection between indoor and outdoor spaces.
Kezlo provided professional design services for the development of a new residence on a 3 1/2 acre lot. The new residence included 3000 sq ft of livable space. Kezlo Group collaborated with the owner exploring site, architecture, and interiors during the design process to create a unique response for this waterfront home.
