Kezlo’s work for the new brewery in Denton, Maryland, centered on creating a vibrant and welcoming space that blends modern functionality with nods to the town’s heritage. Since the existing building on the selected site was deemed unsalvageable, a new structure was designed to reflect a similar style while incorporating salvaged elements like beams and miscellaneous wood from the original building. The primary objective was to meet the production and operational needs of the brewmaster while crafting a family-friendly environment where patrons can enjoy food and drink in a warm, non-industrial setting. This approach aims to balance the brewery’s operational requirements with an inviting atmosphere.
Collaborating closely with the client and civil engineer, the team developed a master site plan that outlined the project’s functional and aesthetic vision.
The end result will be a well-integrated brewery that embodies a modern yet homelike atmosphere, offering a unique and enjoyable space for the community.
